This class moves faster and assumes students already know the basic vocabulary of tango, including ochos, giros, sacadas, ganchos, boleos, barridas, etc. We spend less time breaking down movements from scratch and more time working on higher-level combinations, transitions, musicality, and close-embrace nuances. This class is best for dancers who already have a working foundation in tango. Each class is followed by a one-hour práctica at 9:00.
