Brazilian Zouk beginner classes every Tuesday in San Rafael 💃🕺. CLASS SCHEDULE: 7-7:30: Warm-up 7:30-9: Beginners Zouk class 9-9:30: Zouk Practica $25 per night, $30 at the door. Paypal branding@alinamihai.com or Venmo @Alina-Mihai. TEACHERS: Alina Mihai is a Transformation Coach & Somatic Instructor who fell in love with Zouk 7 years ago. After a decade of training in Salsa, Bachata and West Coast Swing and acquiring many injuries, Alina became interested in mindful movement and flow, and committed to helping her students connect with attunement and grace. Zouk quickly became Alina's favorite partner dance for its predisposition to be a meditation in motion, where both partners need to pay great attention and care for each other. Alina is currently mentored by Clinton Lacerda, who has trained extensively under Renata Peçanha and has been teaching her methodology in the US for the last 9 years.. Her classes include in-depth warm-ups designed to prevent injuries and prepare the body for partner dancing. ===== Preston is an event videographer who also fell in love with Zouk's fluidity and dynamic movements. He loves how Zouk encourages us to get comfortable connecting with one another. He is currently enrolled in Clinton Lacerda's teacher training, and looks forward to building community in Marin county.
